Rare Ingredients

We source only the finest raw materials — aged oud from Assam, Taif rose absolute, Somalian frankincense — each chosen for its singular character.

Artisan Craft

Every bottle is filled by hand in small batches. No shortcuts. No compromises. Each fragrance matures for a minimum of six months before release.

Living Heritage

Since 1819, each generation has added a new chapter to the Ozan story — honouring tradition while daring to explore the edges of perfumery.

The Storyteller

Ozan means storyteller in Turkish. Every scent we create is a narrative — a journey through memory, place, and emotion bottled in glass and gold.

1819

Founded in Istanbul by master perfumer Kemal Ozan, blending Eastern oud traditions with European floral techniques.

1887

The iconic crown-cap bottle is introduced, inspired by the heraldic lion crest of the English royal court.

1923

The house moves its atelier to Cairo, bringing the warmth of the Nile Valley into its signature amber and sandalwood accords.

1971

Ozan launches its first women's collection, Rose Éternelle, which becomes an instant icon across the Arab world.

2008

A new generation takes the helm, expanding the collection while preserving every hand-crafted ritual of the original atelier.

Today

Ozan fragrances are worn by those who believe a scent is not merely worn — it is lived, remembered, and passed on.
